SKBBK / Lindung24 2026: What You Need to Know Before 31 August 2026

Published on: August 6, 2026

The SKBBK/Lindung24 policy has introduced several important updates regarding Opt-In and Opt-Out. Here’s a quick summary of the latest SKBBK/Lindung24 updates to help employers and employees understand the current requirements.

Previously Opted Out? You Can Opt In Again

Employees who previously opted out of SKBBK/Lindung24 may now apply to rejoin by completing the newly introduced Opt-In Declaration Form.

Eligible employees can opt in again and continue to enjoy the protection provided under SKBBK/Lindung24.

Once You Opt In, You Cannot Opt Out Again!

The official guidance follows the principle “Once eligible, always eligible.”

Once an employee chooses to opt in, participation will continue permanently and the employee cannot subsequently opt out.

Important Deadline: 31 August 2026

Employees who wish to Opt Out must complete the process before 31 August 2026.

If the Opt-Out process is not completed by the deadline, the system will automatically treat the employee as Opted In and participation in SKBBK will continue.

Can June 2026 Contributions Be Refunded?

No.

According to the official guidance, all SKBBK contributions made for June 2026 were mandatory. Therefore, these contributions are not refundable, even though participation was subsequently changed to voluntary.
